Scholarships for continuing business students are often restricted to a specific major or set of circumstances so make sure you check the criteria before applying.
Low Income Students
Many students experience difficulty with the costs of living and studying. These financial difficulties arise from having limited income and having lots of expenses. There are several scholarships and bursaries awarded across the university to students experiencing financial hardship, to assist such students to focus on their studies. 2010 Ivan Wood Excellence in HR Scholarship
This scholarship is proudly supported by Chandler Macleod and Thiess. Ivan Wood was one of the most respected HR experts in the Australian HR profession. He was someone who personified the professional, business-oriented HR executive and was deservedly successful in his career due to his capability. Many people have been the beneficiary of his sound mentorship and advice and it is only fitting that a way to remember his contribution to many HR careers would be to support up and coming HR professionals.
This scholarship is offered in memory of Mr Ivan Wood who passed away in 2006.
Chandler Macleod and Thiess will provide a scholarship valued at $8118.00 for a dedicated full-time Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) student who will be entering their final year of study in 2010.
