Career Summary

Dr Béatrice Atherton is Coordinator of the French Language Program. She taught at the University of Queensland before joining QUT in 1992. She is actively involved in professional associations at state and national levels as President of the MLTAQ French Teachers' Branch and Secretary of FATFA (Federation of Associations of Teachers of French in Australia). She helped establish a range of exchange agreements with French universities and is currently developing online collaboration projects with partner universities in France and New Caledonia.
