The language programs at QUT play a key role in the University's drive to internationalise courses and learning across all faculties. They prepare students with practical, up-to-date spoken and written language skills and develop intercultural competencies relevant for the global workforce. All language programs are delivered through the QUT Languages Centre, hosted within the Faculty of Business.
The content of the programs is driven by practice in the use of language, applied linguistics, computer-based multimedia technology, and internet resources.
All language classes, the language computer laboratory and teaching staff offices are located at Gardens Point campus.
