Entry levels

Because many students do not get the opportunity to study languages at high school, QUT offers alternative entry levels:

• German 1 is an introductory unit designed for students with little or no previous experience in the language
• Students who have recently studied German for 5 years at high school enter the program at German 3
• Students who have spent a year in Germany after completing 5 years of high school German may possibly enter German 5.
