Tri-university Language Alliance

From 2009, language programs will be delivered through an alliance between QUT, the University of Queensland and Griffith University. This alliance is an Australian-first, designed to expand higher learning in a range of Asian and European languages and is approved and funded by the Australian Government.

Under the alliance, the Universities will pool teaching resources to offer a greater range of languages to students.

Studies are available in:

QUT will continue to administer the Mandarin program. Further details are provided on this website for students interesting in studying Mandarin at QUT. All other languages will be available to QUT students through cross-institutional enrolment at either UQ or Griffith.

Where enrolments are sufficient to make it possible, classes will be offered on more than one campus to increase flexibility for students, however some units may only be available on one of either QUT, UQ or Griffith campuses.

For further information on 2009 transition arrangements and cross-institutional enrolment information please refer to the documents below.
