You may be able to claim credit for part of your course, on the basis of your previous studies. You should apply for academic credit when you apply for your course.

The Faculty of Business has advanced standing arrangements with many local and overseas institutions. If you want to be considered for credit, please indicate clearly on the application form (F Form) in the section for credit. Your credit will automatically be assessed. If you meet the course entry requirements, you will receive an offer letter with a credit advice.

For qualifications we have not assessed previously, you will be asked to provide supporting documents (subject outlines) in order for us to assess your eligibility for credit.

If you have a Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore qualification, you may find an indication of the credit which you may receive on the QUT: International website.

The information provided should be used as a guide only. You will receive formal advice on your exemptions when we receive your application.

International students should have their credit finalised before the commencement of their course at QUT. If you have any concerns about credit, please contact the Faculty’s International Student Office (email: international_enq.bus@qut.edu.au)
