Rachael Truscott

“Business Advantage is all about expanding your opportunities. Classroom learning is only half a business degree. The rest – the networking, skill development and ability to apply theory to the real world – is up to you.

“The Faculty of Business provides a great opportunity to do this through the Business Advantage program. It not only provides development opportunities, but a space for like-minded individuals to share ideas and form networks and friendships.

“Business Advantage references what is being taught back to the individual. You are constantly being challenged with questions like, “how does this affect you?” and “do you agree with this?"

"It means that everything you learn is personally relevant and applicable.”

Rachael’s career interest is in corporate social responsibility and she is investigating opportunities for work experience in this area, with companies involved with the Business Advantage program.
