The Faculty of Business and School of Economics and Finance was proud to present an exclusive Public Lecture by Professor Bruno S. Frey, an international renowned and respected Swiss economist on 14 August 2007,
Professor Bruno S. Frey argued that testing theories of happiness in economics has the potential to contribute to the core of economics.
In his only Brisbane address, Professor Frey discussed the interplay between economics and happiness with a focus on income aspirations of individuals and what contributed to well-being in marriage.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE) and one of the ten experts of the prestigious Copenhagen Consensus in 2004, Professor Frey has made significant contributions to the fields of economics, political science, sociology and psychology.
