Walter Piciocchi addresses the key issues of the recently released the ATO Compliance Program for 2008-09 and its impact on sporting clubs. Local legal experts also examine the ruling. Of particular interest to directors and management committee members will be a discussion of the recent case brought by the ATO against a director of a failed NSW soccer club Mr. Dick, a volunteer director, was required to remit $141,259.19 to the ATO as a personal debt incurred by the club.
