The Queensland University of Technology embraces the notion of lifelong learning.  This is promoted through a learning philosophy that encourages students to take responsibility for gaining skills to engage in continuous learning and reflection on their professional practices.

The Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies invites its alumni to continue their professional development by participating in an afternoon seminar which builds on their core units in the Graduate Certificate.  Lecturers from each unit will present new developments and emerging issues from their discipline as it relates to philanthropy and nonprofit studies.  Our special guest will be Professor Helmut Anheier who is currently visiting the Centre as a Myer Foundation Research Fellow.
