Research Students Colloquium

Tuesday 10 February 2004

Presenters:

Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes, Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies

Stephen Marsden, School of Accountancy, QUT

Each year QUT’s Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (CPNS) collects and analyses statistics on tax-deductible donations made by Australians in their individual income tax returns to deductible gift recipients (DGRs). The information is based on the amount and type of tax-deductible donations made by Australian taxpayers to deductible gift recipients (DGRs) from 1 July 2000 to 30 June 2001. This seminar examines tax-deductible donations made by individual taxpayers in Australia in 2000-2001.
