Research visitor to CPNS from the Institute for Nonprofit Organizations at the University of Georgia
Interested in researching civil society and philanthropy, Julianna is a research visitor to CPNS from the Institute of Nonprofit Organizations at the University of Georgia. Graduating from LCC International University (formerly Lithuania Christian College) with an equivalent of a Bachelor of Psychology in 2006, Julianna is currently completing her Master’s in Management of Nonprofit Organizations. At the completion of this degree Julianna will pursue PhD in Philanthropic Studies programat Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis

Dr Diana Leat
Director, Creative Philanthropy Programme
Carnegie UK Trust (London)
Currently the Director of the Creative Philanthropy Programme at Carnegie UK Trust, in the past five years Diana has also acted as a consultant to various grantmaking foundations in the UK and Australia reviewing their policies and practices and, as The Myer Fellow at QUT and Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University with Philanthropy Australia, worked on a study of foundation stakeholders, governance and accountability.
In her most recent visit to Australia and CPNS, Diana shared findings from her recent work published in her book "Just Change: Strategies for Increasing Philanthropic Impact" 2007. Diana has published extensively on the voluntary sector, foundations and social policy including her book co-authored with Prof Helmut Anheier "Creative Philanthropy: Toward a Philanthropy for the Twenty-First Century" published in 2006.
