New Resource: Australia's Welfare 2005 Publication. Comprehensive and authoritative source of national information on welfare services in Australia. Topics include indicators of the welfare of Australia's population, ageing and aged care services, disability and disability services, assistance for housing, services for people experiencing homelessness, and welfare services expenditure and labour force. Also features an extended chapter on children, youth and families.

New Resource: Giving Time: The economic and social value of volunteering in Victoria (PDF, 2,262kB) by Faye Soupourmas and Duncan Ironmonger.

New Resource: Strengthening NGOs' Online Resources. This is the first release of the Queensland Community Organisations Online Resources (QCOOR) website. Search for services, funding information, service delivery standards, business tools, reporting information, contacts and more. Although information is geared towards Queensland Community Organisations, several resources pertain to NGOs in other states.

New Resource: Building the Capacity of Small Voluntary Agencies Project undertaken during 1997-99 by the (then) Centre for Voluntary Organisation and funded by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales has produced the following publications which are available on the London School of Economics Website:

New Resource: New Database Documents 318 Foundation Capacity-Building Programs
A foundation-funded database has been updated so that it now includes a total of 318 foundation programs that work to strengthen nonprofit foundations across the U.S. and the world. Foundations can learn about capacity-building grant making and direct service work of other foundations through the Philanthropic Capacity-Building Resources Database, a project of the Human Interaction Research Institute.
