The IMRG is comprised of leading researchers whose work focuses on the organisational and relational dimensions of infrastructure and its associated social, technological, knowledge and human systems. A range of infrastructure fields are under examination in the group’s current research projects including construction, water, defence and airports. The management issues which the group explores includes work-life balance, employee well-being and retention, stakeholder and network management, procurement, innovation and learning, knowledge transfer and sustainability in complex and dynamic environments. The group is highly active in research projects funded by government, industry and the Australian Research Council and there is a number of postgraduate research students associated with the group.
