With these values the Faculty of Business offers a variety of business courses (specialised, generic, undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, degree) to a diverse group of students (diverse in age, culture, full-time, part-time, on campus, off campus, employment, experience).
The disciplines of accountancy, advertising, economics, integrated marketing communication, international business, management, marketing, and public relations are offered as in-depth study through majors, electives, specialised degrees and research degrees alongside foundation studies in all these aspects for personal and professional development.
All courses are Faculty courses with Schools in discipline areas providing the academic rigour and resourcing. The Faculty has designed its courses to articulate as fully as possible from the sub-degree to postgraduate levels.

The Faculty offers both discipline-based as well as generalist Masters degrees via a Master of Business and a Master of Business Advanced.
The Master of Business Program includes streams in Accountancy (for prior accounting students), as well as Professional Accountancy, Applied Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, Strategic Advertising, Events Marketing and Communication, Management, Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing, and Public Relations for students from any discipline background.
The MBA offered in the Graduate School of Business includes a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. Students may study in China and France as part of the QUT MBA. The Executive MBA has been specially designed for delivery in monthly intensive weekends with an international study tone.
Undergraduate Degree
BS56, the Bachelor of Business, offers students majors in Advertising, Public Relations, Accountancy, Economics, Banking and Finance, Marketing, International Business, Management, and Human Resource Management. Majors build on eight Faculty core units and include 12 units of discipline-based study taken either as extensive study in one of the discipline areas or by combining two areas.
In addition to the major study areas, students may include specialist studies in areas, such as, Integrated Marketing Communication, Languages, Financial Economics, Business Law and Logistics.
All students may select up to four electives from other disciplines in the Faculty of Business or from undergraduate courses in other faculties. Students can also broaden their opportunities by undertaking a double degree with any other faculty at QUT.
