Career Summary
Dr Anne Pisarski’s career began in Private Practice as a registered Psychologist and Organisational Consultant in 1981. In 1992, Anne moved into the University sector and joined the School of Management as an Associate Professor in 2007. Anne brought with her a wealth of knowledge especially in the fields of behavioural/organisational psychology. Anne maintains her association with industry through extensive applied research and industry consultation which is within the fields of management, communication and psychology.

Research Interests
Anne’s research interests are predominantly in the areas of communication, supportive environments, community engagement and leadership. Her research interests represent a strategic plan that utilises the knowledge she has gained from her PhD research, teaching and professional background in management, communication and psychology, and applies this knowledge to advance understanding of the effects of interpersonal, intra-group, inter-group and organisational communication in various organisational and community settings and occupations (shiftworkers, IT workers, scientists, community) in order to improve engagement, leadership and the effectiveness of communication and facilitate effective interventions on industry issues such as retention and job satisfaction. She has developed strategic alliances with industry and research partners who are facilitating these research agendas.
