Career Summary
Brad is an experienced and highly-trained leader, researcher, educator, project manager and human resources professional with extensive experience in the management of personnel, organisational change and high level strategy development. He has had a rich and varied career, across a number of roles in leadership, project management and research positions within the private and public sector. These include: Principal Project Officer Learning and Development for the Department of Industrial Relations Queensland; Principal Adviser (Research and Innovation) for Education Queensland; Deputy Director of Workforce Structures and Unit Commander in the Royal Australian Air Force: and Senior consultant and Manager Global Analytics Services for the Infohrm Group. Brad is currently performing the role of Infohrm Research Fellow QUT, a hybrid academic and business consultancy role sponsored by the Infohrm Group. In his consulting role Brad has consulted extensively in the human services, utilities, mining, education and health sectors.

Research Interests
Brad’s research interests include the ageing of the workforce, unemployment, high performance work systems and economic globalisation. Brad completed his professional Doctorate titled: The Ageing Population. Working and Learning in the Knowledge Economy: Implications for Education Queensland, in 2004, has published a number of papers in international refereed journals and has contributed to National and State level reports. Topics include public sector reform, education, population ageing, high performance work systems, workforce planning and economic globalisation. Commencing in 2008, Brad will be leading the Infohrm Group’s contribution in an ARC linkage research grant dealing with the topic of managing labour supply in a globalising economy. With his colleagues in the US and Australia Brad is currently writing two books, provisionally titled: The World at Work 2.0: Connection, Challenge and Risk and Integrated Workforce Planning.
