Career Summary

Mark brings an extensive amount of real-world experience to the School of Economics and Finance. He is a board member of the Queensland Competition Authority and is an associate for Synergies Economics Consulting. He consults for a large variety of clients including private sector companies, governments, banks and professional bodies. Mark is the author of the leading finance textbook in Australia Fundamentals of Corporate Finance (McGraw-Hill), prescribed by 23 Australian Universities. The book is currently in its 4th Edition. Mark was previously involved with the Finance in Projects Team that is part of the Shell Academy.
