Career Summary
Markus Schaffner is a PhD Student in Economics at the School of Economics and Finance, Queensland University of Technology. Previously he worked as a software developer in a small IT company in Basel, Switzerland. He finished his MA (lic. phil.) in Sociology, Economics and Computer Science in 2005 at the University of Basel in Switzerland. He currently focuses on research in behavioural and experimental economics. On the side he still maintains the open source core of a small CRM system.
Research Interests
Behavioral and experimental economics, empirical research, sport economics, illegal activities, environmental economics, communication, new media, computer science, statistics and quantitative analysis.
