Master of Business (Research) (BS92)
In the fields of Economics and Finance.
The Masters by research program involves four coursework units and a program of supervised research and investigation, culminating in production of a thesis, usually of 40,000 to 50,000 words. The student’s capacity to conduct rigorous independent research is developed and the required coursework integrates conceptual and practical knowledge within the discipline. During their studies, the School may employ Masters Research students as tutors and research assistants.
Doctor of Philosophy (IF49)
In the fields of Economics and Finance.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is designed to equip students with advanced research training in the relevant discipline area. The PhD program is small but of high quality. Doctoral candidates have close interaction with academic staff and are involved in many aspects of the School. The School provides additional top-up funding to students who have been awarded a scholarship such as an Australian Postgraduate Award. During their studies, the School may employ PhD students as tutors and research assistants.
