About the Brisbane Graduate School of Business

We look after the Masters of Business Administrations suite of programs and we also look after the Masters Business suite of programs so all up we’ve got nearly 2000 students within the graduate school so it’s a very large school with quite a diverse range of students. One of the things that sets QUT apart from other graduate programs is its emphasis on integration of the theoretical dimensions and knowledge with that practical real world outcome. So we encourage our students to learn on Friday apply on a Monday. Flexible learning has been something that the graduate school has long been recognised for. Probably the MBA program in particular is the most flexible program that we have in terms of the 2 major suits of programs. Our focus in the graduate school is about developing professionals in the business community. So one of the things that we are very passionate about is ensuring the students and the candidates in our program have a very close association with the business community. Students are also encouraged to develop themselves professionally so there is a lot of focus on the soft skills of business, there’s also a lot of focus on entrepreneurial activity and that can be not just with start-ups but also in the corporate arena. And having that global outlook, we are a triple accredited business school. Our focus is not just on the Brisbane community but on the business community at large.
